The bar guard is designed to reduce the pressure the barbell puts on the shoulders and neck during squats. It helps beginner athletes get used to the weight of the apparatus on their shoulders, and experienced athletes work with maximum weights, focusing on the exercise technique.

Visually, the fingerboard is a hollow, thick-walled tube with a longitudinal cut that allows you to quickly put it on/off the fingerboard. For its production, foam rubber is used - a high-density material. It is characterized by elastic compliance and resistance to repeated deformation.

The outside of the pad is covered with a polyester cover that fits tightly. It gives the accessory additional stability and also protects the foam from damage, premature wear and contamination. The fingerboard is secured to the fingerboard with a Velcro flap that runs along the entire cut.
